Make it Silly Simple

If you struggle to step on the mat each day, make it so simple that it would be silly not to do it.

This is how you stay consistent. It could be exercise, martial arts training, reading, or studying a language. Anything.

For example, instead of 100 push-ups a day, commit to one. You'll probably do more, but one is the rule.

Instead of 30 minutes of study, commit to one minute. Open the book. Read a sentence. You're already ahead of yesterday.

Instead of a 15-minute stretching routine, just stand up right now and stretch your arms over your head while you read this.

Make it so silly simple that it's easy to start. That way you'll keep starting.

And that's how you keep showing up to stay on the mat forever.
